Receptions in the OC

You’re starting to make plans for your wedding. There are a lot of things that you need to be thinking about for example: how many people will you invite, do you want to get married at a church or along the beach, where do you want to have your reception. The most important thing you should know before starting to plan your wedding is to know your budget. Once you and your fiancée have agreed on the budget, now you can start the planning process. Please be aware that planning a wedding won’t be easy, you will need to be as patient as possible.
For this page of the blog, I will only be focusing on the Orange County. The Orange County is probably one of the nicest places to get married. I have selected some of the best resorts, with reasonable prices.
The first resort that I found is called “Pala Mesa Resort” the resort is located in Fallbrook, CA only a few minutes north of San Diego. The resort has a private white rose garden surrounded by 30-foot cascading waterfalls. You have the choice of having an outdoor/indoor wedding and you can have up to 350 guests.
This resort has a reasonable price, if you are planning an intimate wedding with just family. They have a package that is worth $7,500, these are the things that are included in the package: wedding coordinator, choice of 3 Hors d’Oeuvres, cake cutting fee & service, Champagne & Cider toast, dressing room day of wedding, plated reception for 100 people, daytime wedding 11am-4pm and a honeymoon suite. This whole package is perfect if you are having up to 100 guests.
The second resort that I found is also located in San Diego, the resort is called “Rancho Las Lomas” This resort is probably one of the most private resorts to have a wedding. The resort not only has beautiful gardens but also has a zoo. The zoo has exotic animals one of them being a white tiger.
The resort has 2 sites to chose from there’s “The Teatro” and “The Grand Salon”
The “Teatro” is an outdoor theater surrounded with oak and sycamore trees. The outdoor reception can seat up to 400 guests. There are couples that use the “teatro” as the ceremony place where as other couples decided to have their reception.
The “Grand Salon” is the perfect place to have an indoor reception. As you walk in you see a spacious patio and a fountain that gives the room a special touch. There are some couples that use this as their reception area, the reason is because of the warm and family feeling the room has. The price range for this resort costs bewteen $10,000+ depending on what you want for your wedding.
One of the best things about this resort is the fact that it is extremely private and your guest feel at home.
